Jonah Kue was born on October 5, 1986. Growing up in Queens, New York, he began to develop an early fascination with music. For a few years, Jonah lived in Chicago, Illinois, but soon moved to North Carolina. When he became a teenager, Jonah started to play electric and acoustic guitar. With enthusiastic support from his family, he sought to explore the world of music. Quickly catching on to theory and technique, Jonah developed skills in other instruments (keyboards, drums, bass, banjo, etc). He also found an expressive outlet for his emotions and thoughts through songwriting. Over the years and throughout the different events in his life, Jonah has devised his own unique style of music, complemented by poignant lyrics, often said to be a hybrid of John Mayer, Sade, and Maroon 5. He continues to learn, to create, and to explore.
